In an interview with the People's Representatives Newspaper, Ms. Trinh Thuy Anh, Communications Manager of the Dat Bike brand, affirmed that optimizing costs does not mean lowering technological standards or product quality.
According to the company, from its inception, Dat Bike has pursued the goal of developing electric bikes with sufficient performance so that users can switch from gasoline to electric bikes without sacrificing the user experience.

To achieve this, Dat Bike chose a different approach: mastering its core technologies. Instead of relying entirely on external suppliers, the company proactively researches and develops its battery and motor systems, and controls the entire process from research and production to product distribution. This technological capability and continuous optimization over many years has helped the company reduce production costs over time while simultaneously improving product quality and performance.
According to Ms. Thuy Anh, the strategy of expanding accessibility for users has actually been implemented for some time. With the Quantum S line, the company has introduced several versions with prices ranging from approximately 35 to 50 million VND to meet the diverse needs and financial capabilities of customers. ERA is the next step in this roadmap, aiming to bring high-performance electric vehicles closer to the majority of Vietnamese people through a price point under 30 million VND.
Despite being in the more affordable segment, the ERA is still equipped with many noteworthy technologies. The bike has a range of up to 200 km on a single charge, using a 4.3 kWh battery pack and Integrated Charger technology developed by Dat Bike. In addition, the new model boasts a 50-liter storage compartment, touted as the largest on the electric motorcycle market today, effectively meeting the daily needs of families.
A company representative stated that quality and safety are always mandatory criteria before a product is released to the market. Not only does Dat Bike meet domestic requirements, but it also proactively applies international testing standards to critical components. For example, the battery system on the bikes has passed tests according to the UN R136 standard for electric vehicles.
According to Dat Bike, this is the advantage of a technology company: the ability to simultaneously optimize both product and cost. The cost reduction doesn't come from compromising quality, but from mastering the technology, improving production, and optimizing operations over the long term. With ERA, the company hopes to help many Vietnamese users feel more confident in switching from gasoline to electric vehicles, contributing to the growing trend of green transportation.

In the context of an increasingly competitive electric vehicle market, ERA is seen as Dat Bike's attempt to expand its customer base with a more accessible product, while still maintaining the core direction the company has pursued for many years: high performance, autonomous technology, and rigorous quality standards.
More than just a new product, ERA is considered by Dat Bike as a significant step in its strategy to expand the market and popularize electric vehicles to a wider range of customers, especially the general public and Vietnamese families.
Sharing her vision for future development, Ms. Ny Bui, Business Director of Dat Bike brand, said that the company is gradually expanding its nationwide coverage to bring electric bikes closer to users in more localities.

However, according to Ms. Ny Bui, Dat Bike's expansion is not simply about increasing the number of sales points. More importantly, it's about building a robust operational and after-sales service system so that users can confidently switch to electric vehicles in the long term.
"Currently, we are investing heavily in our supply chain, service systems, and operational capabilities to ensure users can access products, maintenance, and technical support more quickly and conveniently," said Ms. Ny Bui.
This strategic direction is seen as the foundation for Dat Bike to realize its long-term goal of making electric vehicles a popular choice for Vietnamese consumers. Furthermore, the company aims to promote the transition from gasoline-powered motorcycles to electric vehicles on a regional scale across Southeast Asia. With ERA, Dat Bike not only introduces a new model to the market but also continues to affirm its ambition to expand the electric vehicle ecosystem, gradually making green transportation a familiar choice in people's daily lives.
