"Spirit" written and directed by Nguyen Quang Quyet, edited by Nguyen Thu Dung, cameramen Ha Hai Long, Pham Quang Dung, sound designer Le Ngoc Chien, editor Bui Ninh Vu is a film about the restoration of martyrs' photos made by the TeamLee group.
Not only are the photos restored correctly and beautifully, but they also carry sacred values, the spirit and will of the martyrs. Through the photos is a touching story about the heroic sacrifice of the martyrs as well as their relatives.
Among the many ways to pay tribute to the sacrifices and losses of families of martyrs, restoring photos is a very practical and moving act. Because many families still do not have photos to worship or remind their children and grandchildren of their ancestors. Restoring portraits of heroic martyrs somewhat eases the painful loss of families.
Major, director Nguyen Quang Quyet
The scientific film "Research on the application of technology in fire fighting" (director: Ha Xuan Truong; screenwriter: Nguyen Duc Thuc; editor: Nguyen Huy Hung; cameraman: Nguyen Ngoc Son; sound designer: Le Ngoc Chien, film editor: Pham Quynh Anh...) won the Silver Kite Award. The film introduces to the audience fire fighting products created by the Vietnam People's Army.
Introducing new, modern fire-fighting equipment manufactured by the Vietnam People's Army to the general public, so that people know and have methods to apply to fire prevention and fighting in daily life and production is the purpose that the film "aims for".

Sharing about the process of making the film, director Ha Xuan Truong said: The highlight of the film is the scenes of testing the fire ball. The fire sources are created exactly as they happened in reality to clearly show the automatic and proactive extinguishing ability of the fire ball when the fire has just formed. The scenes of the application of fire-fighting drones and fire-fighting launchers were performed in the forest fire defense area exercise.
Two documentaries "Steel in the Deep Sea" and "Awakening and Resolving" were also honored to receive Certificates of Merit. "Steel in the Deep Sea" directed by Vu Trong Quang, screenwriter Nguyen Huy Hung, editor Le Quoc Viet, cameraman Nguyen Bao Khanh, Dinh Cong Hieu, sound designer Chu Duc Thang, Dao Thi Hang, editor Vu Thu Huong. The film is about submarine soldiers with a spirit and will as strong as steel, a solid support for the Fatherland and people in the battle to protect the sea and islands.
That bravery originates from the love for the Fatherland, the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, which is forged through the process of solidarity, the will to overcome all difficulties, and the training and maturity of the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army. The film depicts the arduous journey to master a modern submarine, each new day filled with the efforts of the submarine soldiers, and their thoughts about the sea as they silently perform their duties under the waves.
"Awakening and Resolving" directed by Bui Thanh Hai, screenwriter Tran Dang Mau, editor NSND Le Thi, cameraman Le Duy Hoi, Ha Hai Long, sound designer Le Ngoc Chien, film editor Vu Thu Huong tells the story of a shocking event that happened in 1972 at Base 241, Quang Tri . Here in 1972, the decision to lay down arms by Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Dinh, Commander of the 56th Regiment of the Republic of Vietnam and the extremely humane decision to cease fire by the 38th Regiment - Bong Lau Artillery brought more than 1,000 soldiers of the Republic of Vietnam back to the revolution, back to their families.
After more than 50 years, soldiers from both sides of the old battle line and their children had the opportunity to meet each other in Quang Tri. What remained over time was the national sentiment and love for the race.
The films have different themes but have one thing in common: they depict the image of the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army. The achievements after a year of artistic work of the artists and soldiers of the People's Army Cinema have been highly appreciated by colleagues, audiences and the Kite Award Art Council. This achievement is the motivation for the artists and soldiers to continue on the upcoming journey.
