Donnarumma is allowed to leave Paris. |
Lucas Chevalier, the young goalkeeper of Lille, is being targeted by PSG in this summer's transfer window. With his consistent form, impressive reflexes and footwork, Chevalier is considered one of the most promising goalkeepers in Europe today.
According to L'Equipe , PSG and Lille entered the final stage of negotiations, with a transfer fee of around 40 million euros, a fairly high figure for a young goalkeeper, but still within the financial capacity of the owner of the 2024/25 quadruple.
Luis Campos, PSG's current sporting director, worked with Chevalier at Lille. He knows the goalkeeper's potential and believes he could be the ideal successor to Donnarumma.
With a long-term vision and experience developing young players, Campos is likely to be the one to lay the foundations for this important transition.
As for Donnarumma, he only has one year left on his contract but has not yet decided on his future at PSG. The former AC Milan star demands a high salary to renew his contract, while the French capital team does not want to break the salary structure. Previously, the Italian international also left AC Milan because he could not reach an agreement on income.
