Speed up disbursement of public investment capital for key transport projects

According to the report, the total capital allocated in 2025 for projects in the transport sector is more than VND 5,520 billion, of which capital for key projects is more than VND 4,310 billion, accounting for 33.54% of the total capital plan of the whole province newly assigned by the Prime Minister . As of August 15, units have disbursed public investment capital for key transport projects reaching 23.7% (more than VND 1,021 billion) of the assigned plan. At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches, localities, and investment units reported on the progress of public investment disbursement, implementation status, difficulties and obstacles in site clearance and construction of projects: Construction of inter-regional traffic road Nha Trang - Dien Khanh; Dam to prevent salinity on Nha Trang Cai River; Coastal route from Van Luong commune, Van Ninh district to Ninh Hoa town; Upgrading and renovating Provincial Road 6 - DT.651G (section 2); Upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 1B (section from National Highway 26B intersection to Provincial Road 1 intersection); Upgrading and expanding DT.652B and DT.652D routes (section from DT.652 to National Highway 26B); Road connecting the North-South Expressway with Ca Na general seaport...

Concluding the meeting, comrade Tran Hoa Nam requested relevant agencies, units, and investors to proactively review, grasp the situation, and report on the progress of project implementation, and clearly state the difficulties and obstacles, propose and recommend solutions to accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital for key transport projects to the Department of Finance for synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee. In the process of synthesizing the report, the Department of Finance needs to have content assessing the implementation of site clearance, progress, disbursement rate... of each specific project, and plan the implementation for the following months. Relevant departments, branches, sectors, and localities urgently develop detailed and specific site clearance plans; carry out procedures to pay compensation and hand over site for project construction; actively mobilize people to receive compensation and hand over site; research, appraise, and approve adjustments to investment projects...
