Speeding up the implementation progress of Khanh Hoa Waste-to-Energy Plant project

On the afternoon of August 19, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with departments, branches, localities and investors on the implementation of the Khanh Hoa Waste-to-Energy Plant Project.

Comrade Tran Hoa Nam delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The project is being implemented in Suoi Dau commune, with Khanh Hoa New City Joint Stock Company as the investor. According to the report, up to now, the preparation work for project implementation is being carried out according to the set plan. In particular, regarding land procedures, the investor is working with the Cam Lam Regional Land Fund Development Branch to carry out compensation, support and resettlement. The investor is also completing the detailed planning task (scale 1/500) of Khanh Hoa Waste-to-Energy Plant to submit to the People's Committee of Suoi Dau commune for appraisal; preparing an environmental impact assessment report of the Project to submit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for appraisal...

Based on the investor's report and comments from relevant departments and branches, concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam requested the investor to continue to supplement and complete land procedures and environmental impact assessment reports to submit to competent authorities for appraisal. He assigned the Department of Construction, Suoi Dau Commune People's Committee and relevant units to continue studying legal regulations on planning preparation and approval as a basis for early implementation of the project...
