Admission method and enrollment quota of Hanoi Capital University in 2025
In 2025, the school will enroll 2,365 students and use 5 admission methods as follows:
- Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

- Method 2: Admission based on international language proficiency certificate level 3 or equivalent (within 2 years from the date of application) combined with high school graduation exam scores. Not applicable to Physical Education.

The conversion points for international language proficiency certificates are as follows: The school recognizes the following types of certificates: English (IELTS, TOEFL IBT, TOEFL ITP); Chinese (HSK certificate).

Admission score
- For the method of considering high school academic results, the admission score is the score of the entire 12th grade year of each corresponding subject in the admission group:
Admission score = (Subject 1) + (Subject 2) + (Subject 3) + [UT score (if any)
- Priority points for candidates with a total score of 22.5 or higher (when converted to a score on a 10-point scale and the maximum total score of 3 subjects is 30) are determined according to the following formula:
Priority points = [(30 – Total points achieved)/7.5] × Priority point level.
- Method 4: Admission using high school graduation exam results.
