From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training will open a portal for candidates/parents to pay university entrance fees in 2023. With a proportion of more than 50% of the total number of university entrance fee payment transactions in 2022, this year, MoMo continues to be the official payment channel. In particular, when using MoMo to pay fees, students/parents will receive a gift combo worth 315,000 VND to use for food, utilities, entertainment and travel services on MoMo.
To pay the 2023 university entrance fee, candidates/parents only need to use MoMo to scan the QR code and confirm to complete quickly.
According to the general regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training, the admission fee payment function is only open during a fixed time frame and the admission registration is only considered complete after the candidate has completed paying the fee. Specifically, after completing the registration of wishes, candidates/parents access the admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training at https://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn to pay the admission fee for the registered wishes.
To pay the fee using MoMo, at the payment step, candidates/parents/relatives choose MoMo and click pay. The system will display a QR code, candidates log in to MoMo to scan the code, confirm the amount to complete the procedure for paying the university entrance exam fee for 2023.
Choosing MoMo to pay fees, candidates/parents/relatives do not need to manually enter account number, verification code or amount... This will help avoid wasting time and unwanted errors. At the same time, candidates/parents/relatives can also easily pay for others in the most convenient, fast and accurate way.
MoMo is currently directly linked with most banks, NAPAS payment gateways and international cards. MoMo is also one of the few units applying QR code scanning to help candidates/parents from rural areas who are not familiar with technology or are paying online for the first time easily.
Paying university admission fees online is an idea of the Ministry of Education and Training to respond to the Government's policy of cashless payment and promote the digital economy . Online payment helps reduce unnecessary social costs. At the same time, the method also brings superior payment experiences to candidates/parents, thereby making the registration process easier and simpler for candidates, especially for candidates from remote provinces.
This year, when paying university admission fees via MoMo (from July 31 to August 6, 2023), candidates/parents will receive attractive gift combos worth VND 315,000, including:
- 30,000 VND bus gift card for bills from 300,000 VND
- 50,000 VND flight ticket gift card for bills from 1,200,000 VND
- 3G/4G Data gift card with maximum discount of 15,000 VND
- Gift card discount 15,000 VND, maximum 30,000 VND for combo of calling + data
- 10,000 VND discount gift card when paying Internet bill from 60,000 VND
- 15,000 VND gift card for orders from 60,000 VND at Katinat
- 20,000 VND gift card for orders from 60,000 VND at Bobapop
- 50% discount gift card up to 100,000 VND at King BBQ
- 20% off gift card up to 30,000 VND at Starbucks
- 10,000 VND gift card for orders from 300,000 VND for non-stop fee service
- 10% discount gift card up to 5,000 VND for Spotify. Especially 1 month free Spotify Premium for new users.
For candidates/parents using Postpaid Wallet as a source of money to pay the admission fee, when entering the code VTSKHAOTHI, they will receive a direct discount of 20,000 VND on the total amount of admission fee to be paid (equivalent to 1 free wish).
In addition to the gift combo worth 315,000 VND received when paying the fee, candidates/parents who download MoMo for the first time and enter the code DAIHOC23 will immediately receive a gift combo worth 200,000 VND, including:

During the 2022 university admission fee payment period (from August 24 to 5:00 p.m. on August 29, 2022), MoMo recorded 172,000 QR code scanning transactions, accounting for more than 50% of the total number of online university admission fee payment transactions in 2022. |
