On the afternoon of May 4, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission (term 2020-2025) held its 14th session. General Luong Cuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission listened to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission report summarizing the proposal to discipline 11 soldiers who violated state laws and military discipline. These are serious violations that have negatively affected the reputation of the military.

With a spirit of responsibility, democracy, and strictness, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission reviewed and unanimously voted to propose that the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee and the Ministry of National Defense take disciplinary action against the Army by stripping seven cases of their military titles; expelling one case from the Party and demoting the military rank from Senior Colonel to Lieutenant Colonel; removing all Party positions for the 2020-2025 term and removing the division commander position for three cases.

In his concluding remarks, General Luong Cuong requested the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to urgently complete the document and submit it to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission for consideration and disciplinary action against violating soldiers.

At the same time, it is noted that the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission proactively advises the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to closely lead and direct the work of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement. Proactively grasp the situation, detect and inspect Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations; promptly and thoroughly resolve petitions, denunciations and complaints, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations in the Army, and successfully completing assigned tasks.
