Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Do Ngoc My, Rector of Quy Nhon University, said that the university's scientific and technological activities are increasingly becoming more in-depth, closely linked to application orientation and serving the community.

At the ceremony, Quy Nhon University signed a memorandum of understanding with the International Intellectual Property Transfer Consulting Joint Stock Company (SIPC Group) to establish a cooperative relationship in the fields of human resource training, scientific research, and technology transfer.
On this occasion, Quy Nhon University also held an awards ceremony for the scientific research competition organized by the university. Accordingly, the first prize was awarded to the topic "Similarities and Differences of Gender in Customer Complaints in Tourism and Hospitality" carried out by students Bui Thi Ngoc Tram, Nguyen To Lien and lecturer Truong Van Dinh (Faculty of Foreign Languages, Quy Nhon University).

Connected to reality
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung, Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation (Quy Nhon University), said that the university is currently implementing one science and technology project funded by the Vingroup Innovation Fund (VINIF): "Production of single-chain gonadotropins for reproductive treatment" and three national-level projects under the Ministry of Science and Technology… Among them, the project of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Diep (Quy Nhon University) has successfully synthesized recombinant single-chain gonadotropin with biological activity similar to follicle maturation hormone, used to treat infertility in humans.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, Quy Nhon University had 95 student research projects underway, of which 92 were completed on time. The university selected 31 projects that won awards in the university-level student scientific research competition (including 5 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 11 third prizes, and 9 consolation prizes).

"Overall, the scientific and technological activities of faculty and staff at the university are constantly developing and improving; the results of research projects are not only prestigious articles and books serving training but also linked to practical applications and potential for development into applied products and technology transfer. This is an important prerequisite for cooperation with domestic and foreign businesses, forming a science and technology enterprise within the university. This will significantly contribute to improving quality, creating prestige and brand for Quy Nhon University," said Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Tien Trung.
