QTO - It has become a regular practice to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, always being the focus of vibrant emulation movements in schools in Dong Hoi ward. In preschools, learning and following Uncle Ho's teachings is expressed in many lively and diverse forms, yielding positive effects. Phu Hai Preschool is a clear example.

Located in the heart of a residential area in Bac Hong neighborhood, the school, which was once prone to annual flooding, now looks completely transformed with a neat campus, a playground decorated with flags and flowers, and playground equipment for children. In each classroom, a picture of President Ho Chi Minh is placed in a prominent position in front of the class; a "Ho Chi Minh Corner" displays paintings and artworks about President Ho Chi Minh created by the children.

As introduced by the Head of the Party Building Committee of Dong Hoi Ward, Ha Quoc Vuong Anh, this is a unique school, located in a low-lying area and frequently affected by natural disasters. Despite facing difficulties, the teachers and students always remain optimistic and cheerful. The school's staff, teachers, and employees have excellent methods in caring for and educating children, and are recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee, the government, and the local people, who trust and send their children to the school. This is also a shining example of Dong Hoi Ward in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.

According to the Party Secretary and Principal of the school, Tran Thi Thu Huong: To make the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings a regular practice, the school's management board has launched a competitive emulation movement linked to the specific responsibilities and duties of each individual. Each cadre, Party member, teacher, and staff member is required to register specific and practical tasks; with a focus on improving the quality of teaching, care, and education, ensuring the comprehensive development of children, providing them with care, love, and food safety and hygiene. At the same time, the school also directs cadres and teachers to integrate the content of studying and emulating President Ho Chi Minh's teachings into their professional work and patriotic emulation movements, such as: the "Building a friendly school, active students" emulation movement, the "Building a child-centered preschool" emulation movement, etc.

Thanks to this, the staff, teachers, and employees always have a sense of responsibility and solidarity, actively registering and effectively implementing the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings with content related to improving the quality of teaching and learning, and standards of communication and behavior appropriate to their assigned and responsible fields. In particular, the school has successfully built the "Happy Kindergarten - Loving Classroom" model, which has earned the trust of parents and ensures children attend classes regularly.

“The appropriate learning models have gradually fostered close and loving relationships between children and their school, teachers, and friends. Therefore, my child enjoys going to class and enthusiastically participates in experiential activities, clearly demonstrating creativity; becoming confident in communication; and playing in a safe and friendly environment. What reassures parents most is that their children are very happy to go to school. This is the third child my family has entrusted to this care and education environment. I also frequently participate in school-organized activities with my child,” shared Ms. Tran Thi Trang (from Diem Hai residential area), parent of 4-year-old Nguyen Hoang Phuc An.

The kindergarten teachers in Phu Hai also flexibly integrate educational content for preschool children, teaching them to learn from and follow the example of Uncle Ho, through themes appropriate to Uncle Ho's advice to young children during his lifetime: "Young people should do small things, according to their abilities." Through poems, songs, and stories filled with the love, simplicity, and compassion of the Father of the Nation, they aim to cultivate in children feelings of respect and love for Uncle Ho, and to follow the five teachings of Uncle Ho for young people and children.

“We noticed that through each story the teacher told, such as ‘Uncle Ho’s Apple,’ ‘The Banyan Root,’ or ‘Uncle Ho Visits the Garden of a Thousand Good Deeds,’ the children not only felt profound affection but also learned many valuable lessons about morality, politeness, and solidarity, contributing to educating them to respect and be grateful to the great leader,” said teacher Vo Thi Hien, Secretary of the Youth Union.

Phu Hai Kindergarten has 23 staff and teachers, 4 caregivers, in charge of 7 classes with 180 children; the school's Party branch has 14 members. Over the years, the school's quality of care and education has consistently achieved good results: 100% of 5-year-old children complete the kindergarten education program; 100% of teachers perform their duties well. For many consecutive years, the school has been awarded the title of advanced and excellent; the Party branch has consistently been evaluated as performing well and excellently.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school had two children win second prize in the city-level "Talented Children" competition, three teachers received the title of outstanding worker at the grassroots level, and one teacher was awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; in the 2025-2026 school year, one teacher won the excellent prize in the provincial-level excellent teacher competition.

Following President Ho Chi Minh's example, the school also fosters a strong bond of affection and responsibility with parents.
