The tarps used by the people to dry bamboo shoots and rice have been used as a place for the children to sit together with fried rice, fried fish balls, and delicious bottles of milk tea...
The program also gave the children here more than 400 mid-autumn gifts including lanterns, cakes, milk... Especially during the festival night, the children also met the characters of Hang - Cuoi, lion dance, and Journey to the West magic. The children's eyes were wide open, showing their excitement with the performances.
Tan Quang village is still in a difficult area of Song Phan commune, where the children are ethnic minorities, so the shortage is also present, especially the spiritual values associated with childhood. "This is the group's 7th Mid-Autumn Festival program, to organize all activities throughout, the group mobilized nearly 50 volunteers to participate. Each group was assigned specific tasks, as soon as they arrived, even though it was midday, they still started working right away. By the bright fire, the children with their sparkling lanterns, they sang the song “August Lantern Procession”.
