Come to Tri Ton to see the beauty of the rainy season

Waiting for several months of drought to welcome the rainy season, tourists flock to the Bay Nui region, including Tri Ton district, to immerse themselves in the fresh weather. Not only that, this season the fruits are ripe, even the simple moments of nature are enough to make those who like to check-in come back many times.

4 years ago, Ms. Huynh Kim Dong ( Dong Thap province) followed her colleagues to visit the Bay Nui area. Luckily, it was in the summer when there were many beautiful scenes. On the mountain tops, purple Lagerstroemia flowers bloomed, each flower standing out like brocade woven onto the green forest carpet. Since then, every summer she has stopped by this place to see the flowers but has always missed the appointment. The locals explained that depending on the weather, not every year the wild Lagerstroemia flowers bloom. "This year I got to see the wild Lagerstroemia flowers, it was worth the wait. The flowers are very beautiful because the petals are large, purple mixed with white, depending on the soil, there are different shades of light and dark, each with its own poetic beauty" - Ms. Kim Dong said.

In the afternoon, the shortcut from Soai Chek Lake to Soai So Lake is still visited by many visitors from afar. People are enthusiastically posing by the lake reflecting the palm trees, quietly watching the sudden rain passing by, looking out at the lush green mountains full of vitality... In the middle of the vast space are the figures of diligent farmers with rows of potatoes, bean plants, and banana gardens. Mr. Triet (Nui To commune) said: "People like to come here in any kind of weather. On dry days, the mountains will be beautiful and dreamy in the sun, the air is fresh and pleasant. On rainy days, sometimes you will see clouds hanging over the mountain tops, those are the moments that backpackers always wait for."

The mountains in Tri Ton district are mainly used by people to build gardens and cultivate crops, "following the natural flow", and tourism has not been developed widely. However, that is the favorite place of many people when choosing to relax here. There are mountains with only one refreshment shop or homestay, small model, without much intervention and artificial investment. If you want to have a full experience without having to worry about eating, sleeping, etc., visitors can book a room to stay on the top of the mountain. Nestled among the fruit gardens, there are homestays with many price ranges, glass wall design, tents, small rooms, etc. Even on days when the weather is not good, sitting in a quiet corner watching the rain in the forest is a strangely interesting feeling.

Those who like the feeling of experiencing freedom, time and choice will be more extensive. However, you must consult the "local" to know the times to hunt for beautiful moments, enjoy delicious food, go to the right address... and clearly understand the prices to be proactive for the whole journey. "People who like to "travel" as much as I do are lucky to see the picture of mountains and forests changing colors vividly from one season to another. After months of "burning skin, burning flesh" sunshine, the whole sky and earth seem to be renewed. This is also the season of many types of specialty fruits ripening. Just 1 day of walking around is enough to dispel the stress and fatigue after a week of work" - Mr. Dang Khoa (Chau Doc City) shared.

Talking about the beautiful scenery of the rainy season in Tri Ton, it is impossible to miss the moment of watching the clouds. If at Cam Mountain - "the roof of the West", visitors can stand at a high altitude to see the clouds floating over the landscape, sometimes hidden, sometimes appearing, then "cloud hunting" at Co To Mountain or Dai Mountain of Tri Ton District has more angles to enjoy. On Cam Mountain, a few passing rains leave the viewer with the feeling of being in the mist, but here, standing at a low altitude, high altitude, or right at the foot of the mountain, after the rain, just waiting for the sun to rise, you can see clouds hanging everywhere.

No need to spend money to rent a room on the mountain, the locals invite each other to go to the top of the mountain very early to watch the clouds. "The feeling of waiting from the time when the sky is still dark until the sun rises, the scene before your eyes becomes brighter and brighter, the sun rises to the clouds, the scenery changes constantly with each passing minute. The picture of nature is beautiful and vivid, no day is the same, so I go up here all the time and never get bored" - Mr. Nguyen Huy Vu, in Tri Ton town shared. As for tourists on the mountain, enjoying breakfast in the dawn light is considered a worthy and rare experience.

After a few years of farming in parallel with tourism, the owners of the “forest gardens” on the mountain have had an ideal source of income. Perennial fruit trees have conquered the mountain land, the remaining spaces are used to grow vegetables and many new types of plants, creating a diverse and attractive garden. Tourists coming here have a new experience of nature and human life on the mountain.
