Tennis player Ben Johns (USA), who is considered a world pickleball legend when he dominated all three categories of men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles, recently came to Vietnam to meet with fans in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

In the latest rankings of the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), 26-year-old Ben Johns ranked 4th in men's singles, 1st in men's doubles and 1st in mixed doubles. He has won 3 PPA titles in men's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles and has been at the top of the rankings in these 3 categories for quite a long time. Thanks to his excellent pickleball skills, Ben Johns has a large number of fans all over the world, including Vietnam, where this sport has exploded in the past 2 years.

Ben Johns himself was overwhelmed by the passion for pickleball of Vietnamese people when he arrived in Ho Chi Minh City to attend the Pickleball Legends Tour event (March 26 at Rach Mieu Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City and March 27 at Gia Lam Stadium, Hanoi ). "I realized that Vietnamese people are very passionate about pickleball. This sport has only been developed in Vietnam for about a year, but I just visited a pickleball court in Ho Chi Minh City that is much more beautiful than courts in the US. That is the foundation to show that Vietnam is on the right track," Ben Johns shared.
