According to information from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the accommodation support period lasts from August 30 to September 3. The activity applies to people from distant provinces who come to Hanoi to attend the National Day on September 2 but do not have a place to stay, with priority given to families in difficult circumstances, people living far away, families with meritorious services and those with revolutionary contributions.

Currently, B9 and B10 dormitories of Hanoi University of Science and Technology have been urgently prepared and cleaned, ready to welcome people to stay. Of which, B9 has a capacity of 500 seats and B10 has 700 seats, a total of 1,200 free accommodations.
Each room is fully equipped with amenities such as water heater, ventilation fan, lighting system, clean bedding and spacious private bathroom, ensuring convenience and safety in daily life. Preparations are being carried out urgently to bring the best living conditions to the residents.
