Going towards the fire speaks for the hearts of firefighters.
The events of the two latest episodes of the series "Heading Towards the Fire" left viewers feeling emotional and nostalgic as they witnessed the many hardships and complexities of the lives of firefighters.
During the fire at a local market, they received a lot of criticism, reprimands, and even faced life-threatening situations while on duty.
The scene of the market fire was also meticulously staged by the crew, with the space engulfed in a thick sea of smoke. The effect of the flames was so realistic that the heat radiated through the small screen to the viewers.
Reportedly, this impressive scene was filmed right in the middle of the bustling Cam Le market ( Da Nang ) after receiving enthusiastic support from the authorities, who allowed them to set fire to an entire corner of the market for the most realistic filming.
Towards the end, the film continues to present the ironic situations and hidden aspects that always exist in the life of a firefighter. Notably, director Tran Thanh Huy chose to tell the story from multiple perspectives: the firefighter himself, his family, the local people… to bring a balanced spirit to the work.
The final two episodes of the series will air on Monday and Tuesday on K+CINE channel and K+ app.

Screenwriter of "Wish We'd Fly Together" responds to accusations that the drama is similar to "Reply 1988".
Beyond exploring the struggles of the younger sibling, "Wishing We Could Fly Together" reminds viewers of the popular Korean drama " Reply 1988 , " which focuses on family themes and explores the complex relationships of young people as they grow up and embark on their own paths to adulthood. While sharing many similarities, each drama still possesses its own unique characteristics and message.
“Many people compare 'Wishing We Could Fly Together' to the Korean drama ' Reply 1988. ' That's actually true. The families in the drama all have an older sister, a younger daughter (Nhi and Duksun), and a son. In fact, many similar situations exist in Vietnam. The younger child is often neglected, while the eldest carries expectations and love. The youngest is pampered because they are the smallest in the family,” screenwriter Ngan Vi explained.
Besides depicting the coming-of-age journey of young people in the slum, "Let's Fly Together" also criticizes parental favoritism towards their children. Beyond conveying a message about family love, the film also sheds light on the complex emotions and emotional wounds of the younger child.
Mr. Hop (Ha Phong) and Mrs. Nga (Kieu Trinh) have three children: Ngan (Miss Vietnam runner-up Thuy Dung), Nhi (Trinh Thao), and Hoan (Vo Dien Gia Huy). Mr. Hop constantly compares Nhi to her older sister in terms of academic achievements, infidelity, and personality: "I never thought you could become a flight attendant," "A jinx," "I don't know if she's really my daughter." Meanwhile, Mrs. Nga is biased against daughters, always prioritizing Hoan, treating him as her "golden child." The unequal love between the parents grows, causing Nhi to suffer.
The series is currently airing from Wednesday to Friday every week on the VieON app.
