In Yen Hoa ward, Binh Minh Kindergarten has set up a parent reception area near the exam site at Nguyen Nhu Uyen Secondary School. The resting area is clean, airy, air-conditioned, and equipped with drinking water and seating for parents while they wait for their children to finish the exam.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, Principal of Binh Minh Kindergarten, under the early summer sun, the refreshing drinks, the comfortable chairs, and the warm welcome from the school's staff and teachers helped parents feel more relaxed and at ease while accompanying their children during this important exam.
"Our greatest joy is receiving sincere thanks, smiles, and satisfaction from parents. This is invaluable encouragement for the school staff to continue spreading the spirit of sharing, responsibility, and love to the community," Ms. Nguyet shared.
In addition to providing resting places, the school also coordinated with volunteers to facilitate parking for parents and ensure they had stable seating throughout the exam.

Spreading humanitarian solidarity
Mr. Pham Thanh Ha, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Giang Vo Ward, said that the locality has organized shaded waiting areas for parents at Kim Dong Primary School, Thanh Cong A Primary School, and the Experimental Primary, Secondary, and High School for Educational Sciences.
The waiting areas are fully equipped with facilities to meet the needs of parents who want to rest while their children take the exam.
According to Mr. Pham Thanh Ha, the comprehensive preparation in terms of infrastructure, technology, security, healthcare , and support activities for parents demonstrates the local government's determination to create the most favorable conditions for candidates and their families throughout the exam period.
At the waiting area of Kim Dong Primary School, parent Nguyen Thu Huong said that the arrangement of waiting areas to avoid the sun made many parents feel more at ease while waiting for their children to finish their exams.
"The weather in Hanoi these days is quite hot and humid; standing outside for hours would be very tiring. The fact that the ward has prepared seating, drinking water, and has support staff to guide people is very practical, creating a feeling of closeness and humanity," Ms. Huong shared.
