The Vietnam People's Army currently has two versions of this tank line, the T-90S/SK. Both are equipped with strong firepower and high automation with ballistic computers, optical-thermal sensors, observation equipment, automatic target tracking systems... allowing the tank to accurately attack targets in all time and weather conditions. In which, the T-90SK is the command vehicle version.

The crew consists of 3 people. In terms of firepower, the T-90S tank is equipped with a 125mm smoothbore gun, loaded automatically or manually, with 42 rounds of ammunition, and a rate of fire of 8 rounds/minute. The types of artillery shells equipped on the vehicle are high-speed armor-piercing shells, armor-piercing shells, explosive shells, and especially guided missiles fired through the gun barrel.

The tank weighs 46.5 tons, is 9.67m long, 3.78m wide, and 2.86m high. It uses a B-92C2 turbocharged diesel engine, uses multiple fuels, and has a maximum speed of 60 km/h on asphalt roads. The fuel range on asphalt roads is 550km, and on dirt roads is 520km.

Regarding the defense system, the vehicle is equipped with an optical-electronic suppression system; smoke grenade launcher; explosive reactive armor. Notably, the T-90S tank has a system to protect against weapons of mass destruction and an automatic fire extinguishing system.

Another modern tank model introduced at the exhibition is the improved T-54B, upgraded by Vietnam's defense industry based on the T-54 version produced by the Soviet Union.

According to the introduction board of the Armored Corps at the exhibition, the improved T-54B is a medium tank, equipped with a 100mm main gun. Compared to the original T-54, the vehicle is equipped with a modern optical system, a more powerful engine and improved armor, the improved T-54B meets the requirements of combat in high-tech warfare conditions.

One of the important improvements on the T-54B improved the aiming system and fire control system through thermal imaging system, laser rangefinder and ballistic calculation system through weather sensor system.

The vehicle has a combat weight of 36.3 tons; length 9m; width 3.27m; height 2.75m. The combat crew on the improved T-54B consists of 4 people including the commander, gunner, driver, and loader. These positions are similar to those on the T-54.

Another upgrade on the improved T-54B is the V-55 diesel engine system. This change helps improve the vehicle's maneuverability, increase performance as well as range. Maximum speed can reach 50km/h, range on paved roads is 550km and on dirt roads is 520km.

The third tank introduced was the T-62, an improved version of the T-54. The T-62 had a crew of four; weighed 37.5 tons; was 9.335m long; 3.3m wide and 3.395m high.

The T-62 is equipped with a 115mm main gun, with 40 rounds of ammunition. In addition, the tank is also equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun with a capacity of 2,500 rounds.

One of the differences between the T-62 and the T-54 is that the tank is equipped with a door that pushes the shell casing out after firing. The T-54 does not have this system and the shell casing after firing will be ejected back into the fighting compartment.

The car is equipped with a 580 horsepower engine with a maximum speed of 50 km/h on asphalt. Range of 450 km on asphalt and 320 km on dirt roads.

In the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the tracked systems of the T-62, T-55, and improved T-54B were all equipped with rubber cleats to enable them to move and cause less damage to the asphalt surface.
