The time when universities announce admission scores is also the time when students are faced with many choices for their future. As highereducation is increasingly developing with many new forms, high school students now have more options than before, such as direct admission, considering academic records, and competency assessment exams. However, along with the advantages of training quality and flexible admission, applying to international universities is often more expensive than traditional options.
Understanding the thoughts and aspirations of students who have just completed their graduation exams in 2024, British University Vietnam (BUV) has launched an attractive Graduation Star scholarship program, with many flexible criteria designed to suit the learning and development trends of Gen Z in the new era.
Anticipating the turning point of transition for future students, the BUV Graduation Star Scholarship helps to dispel many common concerns such as complicated scholarship application processes, strict review criteria, and having to undergo specific, "difficult" standardized tests.
Concise and focused scholarship criteria
According to official information from BUV, students only need to meet 2 basic conditions to have the opportunity to receive the Graduation Star scholarship: Average score of 06 high school graduation exam subjects is from 8.0, along with IELTS certificate of 6.0 or higher.
Through this, BUV focuses mainly on ensuring students' academic ability and foreign language ability, instead of "making it difficult" for them with separate entrance exams, or requiring a profile with many extracurricular activities.
“The Graduation Star scholarship application criteria were developed by BUV based on a thorough study of the exam questions and predicted graduation score distribution in 2024, both selective enough to ensure that the scholarship reaches students with good qualities and highly centralized.
Students will not encounter obstacles with the usual requirements for extracurricular activities, after going through a final year of study with intensive and heavy academic characteristics," said a representative of the BUV Admissions Department.
Hunt for scholarships in just 3 simple steps
While the process of hunting for some other scholarships includes many steps, from compiling documents, writing essays, nominating referees, direct interviews... to apply for BUV's Graduation Star scholarship, students only need to follow 3 simple steps.
In the first step of Registering for consultation, candidates can easily find information about scholarships through information channels and register directly on BUV's website. In step 2 - Submitting application, the preparation requirements are also quite concise, including: Application form, portrait photo and related necessary documents. After that, candidates just need to wait for the final step of Receiving application results. The application results will be announced to candidates by British University Vietnam after completing the review process.
With these 3 steps, as long as they are eligible to apply, any high school student can potentially receive an attractive financial support of 10-15% of tuition fees.
Diverse fields of study
For some traditional university options, students will be limited to scholarships in subjects that are university priorities, or identified by the Government as priority areas.
With the Graduation Star scholarship at BUV, candidates can apply for a scholarship of up to 113 million VND in any major they love in the curriculum at BUV.
Currently, BUV is collaborating with prestigious university partners in the UK to train and award degrees in up to 17 bachelor's programs, belonging to the 4 most popular majors on the market today: Business Administration; Computer Science & Technology; Tourism & Hospitality; Design, Creativity & Media. All degrees are awarded directly from prestigious universities in the UK such as the University of London, Staffordshire University, Stirling University and Arts University Bournemouth, recognized globally.
With easy access, a simple process, and a variety of options to pursue their passion, high school students can check out the Graduation Star scholarship and plan to apply from now until October 31 with two intakes in August 2024 and November 2024.
BUV is the first university in Vietnam to receive a comprehensive 5-star rating from QS Stars by Quacquarelli Symonds. At the same time, it is also the first and only university in Vietnam and the ASEAN region, 1 of 22 universities outside the UK to receive a comprehensive accreditation from the UK's Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
Focusing on the practical application of the major, 'learning goes hand in hand with practice', BUV equips students with the necessary knowledge to confidently step out into the labor market, master their abilities and assert themselves. 100% of students after 3 months of graduation have jobs or study higher education programs such as master's and doctoral degrees.
