Forum "Safe Migration - Past and Future"

(QBĐT) - This afternoon, March 28th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Quang Binh Radio and Television Station, organized a forum program titled "Safe Migration - Past and Future".

The event was attended by representatives from the leadership of departments, agencies, and organizations; and youth union members.

At the forum, delegates, guests, and youth union members exchanged and shared information on issues related to the reality, victims, perpetrators, methods, and consequences of human trafficking; solutions for preventing and combating human trafficking, such as: prevention skills; activities to protect and support victims; preventing and handling violations; and difficulties in state management of human trafficking prevention and control.

The forum is part of the "From Behind the Scenes to the Future" project. This is a social action project that uses culture, art, and creativity to work with mass organizations to create positive social change through supporting safe migration and preventing and combating human trafficking in Vietnam, co-funded by the European Union and the UK Government .

The forum aims to contribute to raising awareness, responsibility, and action among youth union members regarding the prevention and control of human trafficking, thereby encouraging youth union members to proactively equip themselves with the necessary knowledge, skills, and information before migrating.

Through this forum, each official and youth union member will become an active communicator participating in the prevention and control of human trafficking and promoting safe migration; mobilizing the public to actively report crimes related to illegal migration and human trafficking.
