Global Business Forum 2025 with the theme "Attracting FDI to Vietnam in the era of growth: Multidimensional dialogue to create breakthroughs"
Faced with new trends and opportunities in the context of growing FDI in Vietnam, the forum is a space to share views, aiming to build feasible solutions, connecting policies with practices, and linking national priorities with the needs of the private sector.
The forum is organized by the Southern Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center - Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Finance in collaboration with RMIT Vietnam.
At the forum, Mr. Huynh Thanh Van - Chairman of the Southern National Startup Support Advisory Council, along with policy makers, international investors, research experts and business leaders discussed and answered questions about: Immediate benefits from FDI, the state needs to have policies that require businesses to be responsible for technology transfer, environmental protection, and training high-quality human resources locally so that Vietnam does not become a technology dumping ground. In the first half of 2025, Vietnam attracted more than 21.5 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) - the highest level by mid-year since 2009, despite the global downturn.
