Northern Electricity requires the establishment of a shock team ready to respond to storm No. 11.

The Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has issued an urgent dispatch, requesting its affiliated units to promptly deploy plans to prevent natural disasters and respond to storm No. 11 (MATMO) with a spirit of urgency - determination - absolute safety.

Accordingly, EVNNPC requires all units to: Strictly implement the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade , EVN and EVNNPC on natural disaster prevention and search and rescue; 100% of the staff must be on duty, implementing the motto "4 on-site", "3 ready"; establish a shock team of at least 60 people ready to mobilize within 8 hours. Power companies must mobilize human resources, vehicles and materials to promptly fix problems and restore power.

Hydropower plants must increase monitoring and prepare plans for safe flood discharge; projects under construction must have measures to prevent flooding and landslides, protect machinery and review insurance records. EVNNPC also emphasizes the need to ensure absolute labor safety, provide life jackets when moving to flooded areas, and be alert for flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.

EVNNPC affirmed that it will closely coordinate with the government and functional agencies to respond to the storm, ensure construction safety, workers' lives and provide electricity to customers.
