According to China Times , the master of the theater, Chung King-hui, passed away on June 3rd. His family stated that he died peacefully at his home at the age of 89. Previously, in 2016, Chung King-hui was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Fortunately, the cancer was detected in its early stages. After completing the television drama "Searching for the High-Voice Girl ," he retired to focus on his health. In his later years, the actor lived a rather private life and rarely appeared in public.
Facing illness and old age, Chung Jing-hui always maintained an optimistic and calm attitude. He once shared: "I'm not afraid of getting old. The older a person gets, the more they can continue to grow. Even a leaf has to wait until it falls from the branch to display its most vibrant colors."

He holds a master's degree from the Yale School of Drama and was one of the first Hong Kong artists to pursue formal theatrical studies abroad. He was also one of the founders of TVB's artist training program and served as the founding director of the Drama Department at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.
