Actor Huu Tin is about to be tried.

According to Zing 's source, the People's Court of District 8 (HCMC) is scheduled to open the first instance trial for defendant Tran Huu Tin (born 1987) for the crime of organizing illegal drug use on the morning of April 28. In addition to Huu Tin, defendant Nguyen Hoang Phi (born 1990) is also being tried for the crime of storing and organizing illegal drug use.

Previously, in November 2022, the District 8 People's Procuracy completed the indictment to prosecute the defendants Tran Huu Tin and Nguyen Hoang Phi at the District 8 People's Court.

According to the indictment, Tran Huu Tin had an acquaintance with Nguyen Hoang Phi and let Phi live in the same apartment at Giai Viet apartment building (Ward 5, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City). Tin and Phi shared the rent.

In mid-May 2022, Nguyen Hoang Phi and some friends went to sing karaoke in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City. Here, a man named Endy (unknown background) put out drugs for everyone in the room to use. When leaving, Phi found that there were still synthetic drugs and ecstasy left, so he brought them back to his room to sleep. Phi hid the drugs without anyone knowing.

On the morning of June 11, 2022, Huu Tin and some friends went out drinking and then returned to the apartment in Giai Viet apartment building. Entering Phi's room, the actor saw a ceramic plate containing drugs and ecstasy so he took it out for his friends to use. That day, Tin bit and swallowed half an ecstasy pill. After using the drugs, Tin went to sleep.

When Phi got home, he knew Tin and his friend were using drugs, so Phi turned on the music to get excited and gave the drugs to someone else to use.

At 9am the same day, District 8 police raided the apartment and discovered Tin and two others tested positive for drugs, confiscating two nylon packages containing 11 ecstasy pills.

Accordingly, Nguyen Hoang Phi was prosecuted for the crime of Illegal possession of narcotics as prescribed in Point n, Clause 2, Article 249 of the 2015 Penal Code and Organizing illegal use of narcotics as prescribed in Point b, c, Clause 2, Article 255 of the 2015 Penal Code. Tran Huu Tin's behavior was prosecuted for the crime of Organizing illegal use of narcotics as prescribed in Point b, c, Clause 2, Article 255 of the 2015 Penal Code, with a penalty of 7-15 years in prison.

According to the People's Procuracy of District 8, the defendants' actions are dangerous to society, affect public order and security, and need to be strictly handled.

Tran Huu Tin (actor Huu Tin) born in 1987 is the champion of the show Laughter Across Vietnam in 2016. In addition, the actor participated in many plays, movies, and TV game shows.
