Da Nang: Special Mid-Autumn Festival art program

On the evening of September 24, in Da Nang, the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Da Nang, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi, the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi chaired and coordinated with the People's Committee of Da Nang city to organize a special art program with the theme "Under the same roof, under the same moon - Mid-Autumn Festival".

Attending the program were representatives of Da Nang city's leaders; representatives of Liuzhou city's leaders, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China; Yang Shunfeng, Acting Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Da Nang; foreign diplomatic missions in the city; and a large number of people from both countries in the city.

The program aims to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Year 2025.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi emphasized that Da Nang city always respects and wishes to promote international cultural exchange activities, especially with Chinese cities, localities and partners.

Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi believes that cultural exchange events such as the art program "Under the same roof, under the same moon - Mid-Autumn Festival" will contribute to enhancing mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, promoting cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism and people-to-people exchange, and tightening the "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" between Vietnam and China.

At the same time, this will be a milestone in the journey of cultural and tourism exchange and cooperation, contributing to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between Da Nang city and Chinese cities, localities and partners.

Representatives of Da Nang city leaders presented flowers to delegates at the program.

At the program, invited delegates and a large number of people from both countries enjoyed 13 unique performances with many art forms: singing, dancing, traditional musical instruments, opera, folk dance... performed by artists from the Liuzhou Art Performance Troupe (Guangxi, China).
