Through their studies in the United States, Vietnamese students equip themselves with leadership skills to return to Vietnam and contribute to the country’s economic development goals, particularly in the high-tech sector.”

To create opportunities for Vietnamese students to study in the United States, the country continues to maintain its commitment to the Fulbright program, an international educational exchange program that supports Vietnamese scholars and professionals in pursuing these activities in the United States and provides opportunities for U.S. citizens to study, teach, or conduct research abroad, including in Vietnam.

At the same time, the US Embassy affirmed that educational institutions here are offering various scholarships and support programs for Vietnamese students.

U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper stated that, in the context of the continued strengthening of Vietnam-U.S. relations based on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Vietnamese students who study abroad, upon returning home, will become a crucial force contributing to Vietnam's goal of developing high-quality human resources, especially in high-tech, STEM, computer science, and engineering fields. This also forms the foundation for Vietnam to promote strong and sustainable development in the future.
