Spent over 1 billion VND on cosmetic surgery, happy with new look

Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh recently surprised everyone with her facial cosmetic surgery. She spent over 1 billion VND to go to Korea to have a nose job and a facelift.

“Once I have made that decision, I am willing to accept whatever happens. For me, the result of this surgery is perfect,” she shared with VietNamNet .

The surgery lasted 8 hours at a prestigious hospital in the land of kimchi. During the facelift, the doctors also lightly cut the bags under the eyes and removed fat from the artist's chin. After 1 month of cosmetic surgery, Kim Oanh is satisfied with her decision.

Kim Oanh said that beauty is an essential need for any woman, and she is no exception. However, the artist's new look has received many comments.

Some viewers are concerned that Kim Oanh will look unrecognizable, unintentionally losing her uniqueness and affecting her acting career. She expressed respect for all comments because it proves that people love and care about her.

Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh affirms that she is not an artist who makes a living by her face. Therefore, she does not consider this a risk or a trade-off because she has always created new characters and transformed based on her inner emotions.

“I am comfortable accepting a new look. If I have the opportunity to film a new movie, I will challenge myself to a new level,” she shared.

The new face made Kim Oanh feel that her personality and soul had changed a lot. Before, she had difficulty controlling her emotions when facing conflicts and stress. Since her nose job, she no longer likes to fight or compete with anyone.

The most recent project Kim Oanh participated in was The Last Wife (2023). For nearly 2 years, she has been quiet and secretive in her career.

The artist believes in not waiting or forcing roles or projects. For her, each work is a fate. When "fate" comes her way, she believes her return will not disappoint the audience.

For Kim Oanh, the greatest achievement after 30 years of working is being loved by the audience, who remember her face, and even those who hate her stubborn, mean roles on screen and stage.

As an actress who specializes in playing villains, she has long been used to the crowd "throwing stones" and reacting negatively.

“I’m used to it, so when I read bad things about myself on social media, I just laugh. Because that crowd is so aggressive, I can’t argue with them,” she confided.

Single, no need to force love

Happiness for Kim Oanh right now is being able to do what she likes, go where she wants and be with the people she loves.

The female artist admits that her personal needs are not high, and she still lives well. She invests in a few fields to ensure income and a leisurely life, without the pressure of "bread and butter".

Many people often refer to Meritorious Artist Kim Oanh with the words "bitchy" and "terrible". However, she doesn't think too much about it.

Behind the thorny shell, the female artist admits that in real life she is soft, emotional and very open.

“I am very gentle! Everyone who has ever met Kim Oanh says I am a funny person with a lot of good energy,” she joked.

She once admitted that she was a loner, not lonely. The statement seems simple, but does it contain the many worries of a middle-aged woman?

Kim Oanh finds this true because she has always thought and acted differently from the majority.

For her, a smart, sensitive and individualistic woman is very useful in work, but not necessarily good in life. This can easily cause them to hurt themselves.

Over the years, the female artist has read Buddhism and absorbed its teachings. Thanks to that, she accepts everything lightly, without forcing it, and practices reducing greed, anger, and delusion.

Gains and losses, wins and losses, or negative things in life, Kim Oanh often chooses to remain silent.

Over the past few years, Kim Oanh has decided to stay single and not force love. Occasionally, she learns many different lessons about love.

For her, whether young or present, she still thinks that true love is enough. The rest, gain or loss depends on fate.

“In love, respect for each other is the most important thing to me. Respect each other's freedom, respect each other's interests and respect each other's ideals.

If you meet the right person, it can be considered a new relationship. For a single person like me, having money is fun, adding a little love is even more fun," she confided.
