Actor "The Blind Man" Chu Hung passed away

Artist Chu Hung's son said that his father passed away at 12:15 on February 7 at his home. The family will announce the time of the funeral later. Many colleagues and friends were shocked by the news.

Chu Hung (born in 1956) used to work at the Hanoi Drama Theater. He participated in many works such as: Vertical Summer Afternoon, Indochina, Grand Tutor Tran Thu Do... Chu Hung is most famous for his role as Bac Dai Bang in Criminal Police and The "one-eyed" in Nguoi Phan Xu.

In the movie The Judge, the character The 'one-eyed' has many scenes where he has to fight with the boss Phan Quan. And whenever he is helpless, The 'one-eyed' often shouts, screams loudly, loses his temper, and even smashes things.

At that time, sharing about character building, artist Chu Hung said that the script provided 70% of the material for the actors to portray the character. The remaining 30% required the director and actors to have discussions, as long as it was appropriate to the situation.

When not filming, Chu Hung helps his wife sell fabrics on Phung Khac Khoan street every day and goes to the gym every day, cycling around the streets of Hanoi to improve his health.
