The General Staff has directed the Military Training Department - School to draft a Directive on organizing and training the Army and militia forces to participate in the parade and march during the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam National Day (A80) on the basis of maintaining the forces and groups that participated in the parade and march to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; building A80 groups including 11 standing groups and 27 walking groups.

Units have proactively reviewed and selected qualified officers and soldiers, prepared concentrated training plans, and trained in clusters.

At the conference, delegates agreed on plans for organizing forces, uniforms, routes and training locations. The General Department of Logistics and Engineering and related units were required to ensure food, accommodation and health conditions for the training force in the peak hot weather conditions.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia requested units to deploy closely, promote experience from previous parades, and ensure successful completion of tasks during the upcoming important holiday.

The General noted that parade and march practice time takes place during the hottest months of summer (from June to September), so agencies and units need to focus on developing flexible and scientific training plans to achieve efficiency and ensure good health for soldiers.
