Evaluating the recent training period of the Vietnamese women's team in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) and Hai Phong before the tournament, coach Mai Duc Chung said that in general, the whole team ensured and completed the proposed training plan: "The players have trained very actively. Although the weather was hot and the exercises were quite heavy, everyone tried and overcame it. According to the plan, from August 4, the Vietnamese women's team will move to the Mercure Hai Phong Hotel, arranged by the organizing committee of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship. On August 5, coach Mai Duc Chung will attend a press conference before the tournament, while his assistants will attend a technical meeting at the Pullman Hai Phong Hotel. With serious preparation and high spirits, the Vietnamese women's team is ready to aim for a high goal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Championship.
As the host of Group A, Huynh Nhu and her teammates will meet opponents Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand, respectively, on August 6, August 9 and August 12 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong). Group B will compete at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho), including 4 teams: Myanmar, Australia, Philippines, Timor Leste.
