Evaluating the recent training period of the Vietnamese women's team in Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) and Hai Phong before the tournament, coach Mai Duc Chung said that in general, the whole team ensured and completed the proposed training plan: "The players have trained very actively. Although the weather was hot and the exercises were quite heavy, everyone tried and overcame it. The most gratifying thing is that up to this point, the health of the players is guaranteed, good, no one is injured. We are ready to enter the competition."

As the host of Group A, Huynh Nhu and her teammates will meet opponents Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand, respectively, on August 6, August 9 and August 12 at Lach Tray Stadium (Hai Phong). Group B will compete at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho), including 4 teams: Myanmar, Australia, Philippines, Timor Leste. After winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Women's Finals, Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team continue to aim to compete for the highest position at this year's Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship.
