Dak Lak plans to build 4 inter-level boarding schools

The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province and representatives of relevant departments, branches and sectors have just conducted a survey of the construction site of the province's Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

In the border communes of Buôn Đôn, Ia Lốp, Ia Rvê, and Ea Bung, the delegation worked with local authorities to assess the population, the number of children and students at all levels; the current state of school facilities, classrooms, and auxiliary structures of primary and secondary schools in the area; and proposed the form and location for the construction of a combined primary and secondary boarding school…

According to the report, these communes currently have 13 schools from primary to lower secondary level, including 7 primary schools and 6 lower secondary schools with 4,387 students (2,509 primary school students and 1,878 lower secondary school students). The number of students attending two sessions per day is 3,852 (87.80%), including 2,509 primary school students and 1,343 lower secondary school students.

After assessing the general situation, the delegation conducted a site survey of the proposed location for the integrated primary and secondary boarding school as suggested by the communes; checked the planning; held preliminary discussions on conditions related to the distance from students' homes to school; and discussed plans to ensure access to clean water for the students…

The survey team is examining the site for upgrading the school into a multi-level boarding school (primary and secondary) in Ia Lốp commune, Đắk Lắk province.

According to the survey team's assessment, the communes have basically prepared all the necessary documents and information related to the construction of a boarding school for primary and secondary school students for local children, with two options: repairing and upgrading existing schools to minimize waste of facilities; or completely building new schools in a new location in a systematic manner…

On-site surveys and assessments are crucial steps in effectively implementing the Politburo 's policy on investing in the construction of 248 boarding schools for primary and secondary levels in border communes.

Dak Lak province plans to build four boarding schools for primary and secondary levels in four border communes (Buon Don, Ia Lop, Ia Rve, and Ea Bung).
