Specifically, at around 2:00 a.m. on July 23, a fire and explosion broke out at a factory in Vinh Loc village, Van Giang commune, Hung Yen province, causing panic among many residents. The vibrations from the explosion were felt by people a few hundred meters away from the scene. The factory where the incident occurred also collapsed completely.
After the explosion, local people also recorded many objects believed to be similar to fireworks, iron frames, corrugated iron roofs and many machines blown into the surrounding areas.

Immediately after discovering the incident, people reported it to the local authorities and the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (Hung Yen Provincial Police). Because the factory was in a deserted area, the incident occurred at midnight, so when discovered, the fire had already broken out fiercely.

At around 3am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished by the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police. It is known that this factory was built by people on land that was illegally sold and rented out, the warehouse contained many flammable materials...
According to initial information, the incident did not cause any human casualties, and property damage is being assessed. Currently, authorities are continuing to block off the scene, check the surrounding area, and investigate the cause of the incident.
