Dinh Ngoc Diep interned at Tuoi Tre newspaper when she was a journalism student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Ho Chi Minh City National University).

During the 1-2 years she worked for the newspaper, she worked in the cultural and artistic department (now the cultural and entertainment department), and was mentored by journalists there.

To have half a page of reportage in Tuoi Tre at that time, she spent 2 months researching, planning, and going to the field. She appreciates the in-depth, life-related, analytical and commentative articles of Tuoi Tre . In her family, there are also people who have collaborated with the newspaper.

Memories of writing a report about modeling at Tuoi Tre

To this day, she still remembers the feeling of surprise when she first entered the Tuoi Tre newspaper office, with many floors, many departments with computers and many seniors in the journalism world.

She recalled: "The journalists worked very professionally, from punctuality, style and writing process to professionalism. I was captivated when witnessing the dedication of the journalists in their work."

The experiences learned from Tuoi Tre newspaper have also followed Dinh Ngoc Diep for more than 40 years of her life.

Her most memorable memory while collaborating with Tuoi Tre was when she participated in the long-running reportage series "In the world of models" in 2005.

She said: "The valuable thing I learned is that to write about half a page in an article, an investigative report in the Tuoi Tre print newspaper, you have to follow it for two months, participate in events and get to the root, meet real people and real events to exploit information, not simply sit at home and write it."

Dinh Ngoc Diep's job is to penetrate the modeling world, writing about the experiences and emotions of those involved. She is also grateful to the newspaper's managers and leaders for editing and orienting the articles so that they not only reflect the negative reality but also aim for humanity and goodness.

Shortly after working as a journalist, Dinh Ngoc Diep turned to modeling and acting, so she no longer wrote for newspapers much. But she still remembers that after working with Tuoi Tre , she felt that people evaluated her more positively than when she went to other newspaper offices.

The beauty queen of Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2005 was also trained in writing essays, writing style, manners, and expertise. She believes that whatever she writes must be good, helpful, and inspiring to readers.

Dinh Ngoc Diep looks forward to in-depth analysis and commentary.

"The printed newspaper in the past was like a gift, a publication. It not only contained news but also humane, meaningful stories, talking about kindness, spreading positivity to readers. Tuoi Tre Newspaper once contributed to creating a reading culture in every family.

In my family, it was the same. Before, every morning, with a cup of coffee, he often sat with a newspaper. After reading, he would share interesting news and pass it around to the whole family so that everyone could read and discuss the news in Tuoi Tre newspaper "- actor Detective Kien recounted.

Besides Dinh Ngoc Diep, her father and brother also collaborated with Tuoi Tre newspaper in film criticism, writing about good domestic and international films.

Her whole family has a tradition of watching movies and writing about movies. Having a small corner published in the newspaper every week is also a great joy.

When she took the university entrance exam, she was also an eager student and happily checked her name on the exam score sheet printed in Tuoi Tre newspaper.

Having a connection with Tuoi Tre and journalism at the beginning of her career, Dinh Ngoc Diep took a different direction in her career, pursuing a career as an actress and film producer - working alongside her husband, director Victor Vu. However, her current job is still related to journalism and requires the journalism skills she has learned.

Today, the media landscape has changed a lot with the rise of social media and social media. But in that context, readers need in-depth articles from mainstream media.

When a work, song, program or movie is released, I hope there will be more articles that contribute to those in the profession like us, as well as to readers who love art" - Dinh Ngoc Diep said.

She suggested that Tuoi Tre should make books that collect good articles over time so that readers can keep them for a long time.
