Djokovic shared on his personal page on the evening of May 13: "Thank you coach Andy Murray for the efforts, joy and support over the past 6 months on and off the court. I really enjoy strengthening our friendship."

Coach Andy Murray responded to Novak Djkovic's feelings: "Thank you Novak Djokovic for creating a great opportunity for us to work together. Thank you and the team for your efforts over the past 6 months. Wishing you all the best for the rest of the season."
Djokovic appointed Andy Murray as his head coach in December 2024, after parting ways with coach Goran Ivanisevic. The Serbian star started the new year smoothly when he reached the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2025. However, Djokovic has not won an ATP title this year, he lost in the final of the Miami Open and was eliminated in the first match at the Monte Carlo Masters and Madrid Open.
The 1987-born tennis player decided to skip the 2025 Italian Open (Rome Masters) to focus on Roland Garros starting in Paris (France) on May 25. The lack of a victory in this year's clay season has made Nole skeptical about his form ahead of the Grand Slam in France, but he is still highly appreciated by Zverev.
Sharing with the press, Zverev commented: "I still believe that when Novak Djokovic regains his form, he will still be one of the most dangerous players in the world . His ability to compete is superior to everyone else.

The question is whether he still wants to and is willing to put in the effort. If you don't win a tournament, you always feel disappointed. But that doesn't reduce your value, because inconsistent performance is very normal for every tennis player."
Alexander Zverev is the reigning Rome Masters champion. The German player defeated Arthur Fils 7-6, 6-1 on the morning of May 14 to advance to the quarterfinals of this year's ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Italy.
Regarding his goal at Roland Garros 2025, Zverev shared: "Roland Garros is my main goal. I reached the Australian Open final, which was a bitter experience when I lost, but luckily there were four big opportunities this year. I always look forward to playing well on clay and showing my strength."
