Djokovic wins by a whisker, faces Sinner in Wimbledon semi-finals

Flavio Cobolli caused a big surprise when he won the first set against Novak Djokovic, but experience and bravery helped the Serbian player successfully come back to book his place in the 2025 Wimbledon semi-finals.

However, the world number 2 quickly regained control of the game. Djokovic completely dominated the second set with a 6-2 victory after only 27 minutes. In the third set, although Cobolli fought back strongly and at times regained the break, he still lost the opportunity when Djokovic broke his serve at the decisive moment, losing 5-7.

Set 4 was tense as both players held their serves. But in the 9th pivotal game, Cobolli made a serious double fault and lost the break.

Even though Djokovic had a dangerous slip in the final game, he still managed to score two decisive points to end the match with a 6-4 victory.

Final score: 6-7 (6), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 after 3 hours and 13 minutes. Djokovic advances to the Wimbledon semi-finals to meet Jannik Sinner again.
