On the morning of July 27, the delegation offered incense at the National Youth Volunteer Martyrs Memorial House; the graves of 10 heroic female youth volunteer martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Dong Loc T-junction; and Cau Nhe Martyrs Cemetery.
Attending the ceremony was comrade Tran Van Ky, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Ha Tinh province.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee and the delegation of city leaders offered incense and flowers at the National Youth Volunteer Martyrs Memorial House, where the names of more than 4,000 youth volunteer martyrs nationwide are recorded, and the graves of 10 heroic female youth volunteer martyrs who heroically sacrificed at Dong Loc T-junction at the Dong Loc T-junction National Special Historical Site, Ha Tinh province.
In the past, with its vital position, Dong Loc T-junction was located on the traffic corridors connecting North - South, East - West, and was a transit point for the battlefields of the two regions of the South - North and the Lao battlefield. Tens of thousands of soldiers, youth volunteers, frontline laborers and people here fought bravely, overcame all hardships and sacrificed so that the traffic arteries would not be blocked.
Dong Loc T-junction is where 10 female youth volunteers of Squad 4 (belonging to Company 2, General Youth Volunteer Team 55, Ha Tinh Province) heroically sacrificed their lives on July 24, 1968 while on duty at a very young age, none of them were married. The heroic sacrifice of the female youth volunteers became a symbol of the great dedication of millions of young people who sacrificed themselves for the country, not sparing their youth for the cause of national liberation and national reunification.
The historical site of Dong Loc T-junction has become immortal, a proud, familiar and sacred "red address" of the Vietnamese revolution, a noble symbol of revolutionary heroism, forever a place to educate patriotism and national pride for today's and future generations.

Also in Ha Tinh province, the delegation offered incense at Cau Nhe Martyrs Cemetery, which together with Dong Loc was once the vital gateway connecting the Northern rear with the Southern front. In their emotions, the delegation paid tribute to the heroic martyrs who had fallen forever on Can Loc land, including 53 martyrs of the Yen Tu Regiment, who were sons of Hai Phong.
The war has ended, new life has revived on the land that was once a battlefield, but the examples of selfless sacrifice for the Fatherland are forever engraved in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.

On this occasion, Hai Phong city presented Ha Tinh province with 1 billion VND to contribute to the locality's implementation of social security work; gave gifts to encourage the Management Board of General Vo Nguyen Giap's tomb, the Management Board of the special national historical relic site of Dong Loc T-junction and the Management Board of Cau Nhe Martyrs' Cemetery.
