The delegation of National Assembly deputies from the province met with voters in Tan Thanh town.

On the morning of April 15th, at the Tan Thanh town cultural center in Thanh Liem district, the delegation of National Assembly deputies from Ha Nam province held a meeting with voters prior to the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the meeting were Ms. Le Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Citizen Petitions and Supervision; Ms. Tran Thi Hien, Chairwoman and Director of Ha Nam Construction and Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company, and National Assembly deputy from Ha Nam province; representatives from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and socio- political organizations; committees of the Provincial People's Council; the Provincial Party Committee Office; the National Assembly Delegation & People's Council Office; the Provincial People's Committee Office; leaders of Thanh Liem district and Tan Thanh town; and local voters.

At the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Hien, representing the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, informed voters about the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly; reported on the results of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation's activities since the 8th Session and its future direction and tasks; and presented the results of addressing voters' opinions and recommendations from previous voter consultation meetings. Accordingly, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on May 5, 2025 and close on June 28, 2025. The session will be conducted in two phases (phase 1, from May 5 to May 28; phase 2, from June 11 to June 28). The session will consider and decide on amendments and additions to several articles of the 2013 Constitution; consider and approve 30 laws and 7 resolutions; and provide opinions on 6 draft laws. To consider and decide on socio- economic issues, the State budget, oversight, and other important matters, serving the work of restructuring and organizing the apparatus, socio-economic development, and national development.

Comrade Le Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly , and Permanent Vice Chair of the National Assembly's Committee on Citizen Petitions and Supervision, delivered a speech acknowledging the opinions and suggestions of the voters.

Voters in Tan Thanh town expressed their delight at the socio-economic development achievements of the province in recent times; they hoped that the National Assembly deputies from Ha Nam province would continue to uphold their role as representatives of the people, making many important contributions to help the National Assembly build important laws, mechanisms, policies, and orientations for the country.

Ms. Tran Thi Hien, representing the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, informed the voters about the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the same time, voters also submitted petitions to the National Assembly, the Government, and central ministries and agencies on several issues of concern to them, such as: requesting consideration of increasing the financial support for public irrigation services to enable agricultural service cooperatives to promptly serve agricultural production; directing the acceleration of construction progress for state-invested projects and urban development projects undertaken by enterprises, which have been prolonged and negatively impacted people's lives; providing support for redundant officials after the reorganization of administrative units; selecting competent and responsible officials to fill positions in merged administrative units; directing localities and competent agencies to expedite the issuance of land use right certificates to citizens; providing retirement benefits for the elderly aged 75 and over; and arranging educational and medical facilities appropriately after the merger of localities, creating favorable conditions for the people…

Comrade Le Thi Nga, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and Permanent Vice Chair of the National Assembly's Committee on Citizen Petitions and Supervision, representing the National Assembly Delegation, received and responded to the opinions and recommendations of voters within her authority; at the same time, she compiled the voters' opinions and submitted them to the National Assembly and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution according to regulations. She expressed her hope to continue receiving heartfelt opinions and recommendations from voters in the future.
