Tens of thousands of people from the night of April 29 to the early morning of April 30 flocked to the pedestrian area to wait for the moment the parade passed by. Pham Thanh Thuy - Journalism and Communications - shared that she is not a professional soldier, nor a seasoned marching athlete.

Thuy stood among the ranks of those on the information front who were used to holding pens and cameras. The atmosphere today was so solemn that people almost held their breath. The early morning sun of April was bright yellow, the scent of sunlight was light and refreshing.

Thuy recalled the previous practice sessions when it was still dark, the whole team woke each other up, quietly went out to the practice field. The first steps were still awkward and disjointed. The shouts were still hesitant, not yet familiar with the tone.

Day after day, sweat soaked our shoulders, our feet were calloused, laughter and sighs mixed together... all of this forged a new image for everyone: confident, disciplined and proud.

And more meaningfully for Thuy herself, today, the moment she strides on the path of history, is also her birthday.

Professional Lieutenant Doan Thi Thuy Quynh of the Female Information Officers' Block confided: "I myself was a bit worried at first.

But in response to the affection of the people of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the people of the whole country in general, I have tried to complete the task well. This task is very special to me personally, it will be a memorable memory in my military life."
