A delegation of the Communist Magazine led by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, visited and worked in India from November 21-26.
According to VNA correspondent in New Delhi, the Communist Magazine delegation led by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, visited and worked in India from November 21-26.
To begin the activities, the delegation visited and offered flowers at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in the capital New Delhi.
The delegation then visited the headquarters of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) in New Delhi; met and discussed with Comrade Pallab Sengupta, National Secretary in charge of external affairs of the CPI and Comrade R.Arun Kumar, Central Committee Member, External Affairs Committee of the CPI-M.
At the meetings, the parties informed each other about the situation of each party. Accordingly, the CPI-M and CPI plan to hold party congresses in April and September 2025, respectively. The Communist Party of Vietnam is actively preparing for party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of Delegates. They discussed the situation of cooperation between the CPV and the CPI and CPI-M as well as a number of measures to strengthen and further promote the relationship between the parties in the coming time, especially in the fields of political theory and propaganda cooperation.
Besides, Mr. Le Hai Binh shared the long-lasting and good friendship that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have for the country, people of India and CPI and CPI-M party members.
Appreciating the role and position of CPI and CPI-M in India, Mr. Le Hai Binh hopes that the relationship between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the two parties will be increasingly sustainable, with increased coordination and mutual support at the political party forum; promoting information exchange, cooperation in political theory, propaganda, and exchange of good experiences for the development of each country.
For their part, the CPI and CPI-M parties affirmed that they highly value the traditional friendship and good cooperation with the Communist Party of Vietnam; highly appreciate the achievements that Vietnam has attained in recent times under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, especially the achievements in hunger eradication, poverty reduction, social security policies, etc., which have significantly contributed to enhancing the country's foundation and international position.
During the working trip, the delegation visited and worked with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in India.
Here, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Hai informed about the economic, social, defense, technological situation of India, and expressed his wish that the Communist Magazine, with its voice and propaganda advantages, would support the dissemination of information about the importance of promoting the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in a comprehensive manner.
On his part, Mr. Le Hai Binh, on behalf of the working delegation, informed about the domestic situation, especially the whole country's joint implementation of the Party's and the Politburo's guiding ideology on the Era of national growth./.
