This is a provision clearly stated in Decree 69/2024/ND-CP, specifically in Clause 4, Article 40. Accordingly, the accounts granted by the National Public Service Portal and the administrative procedure settlement information system at the ministerial and provincial levels will expire on June 30, 2025. This means that from July 1, 2025, agencies, organizations and enterprises cannot use old accounts to access the electronic tax system or the National Public Service Portal.
From this point on, businesses can only carry out procedures on the National Public Service Portal, the administrative procedure settlement information system at all levels, and especially the electronic tax system (thuedientu.gdt.gov.vn) through electronic identification accounts.

The Tax Department also recommends that businesses proactively register for an electronic identification account for their organization to avoid affecting the process of declaring, paying taxes and related operations. Delays in registration can lead to disruptions in transactions with state agencies.
The legal representative or authorized person must use a level 2 personal identification account to log in to the VNeID application, then enter information according to the instructions and submit a request for an organization's electronic identification account. For organizations with multiple legal representatives, the consent of all relevant persons is required before registration.
Switching to electronic identification accounts not only simplifies administrative procedures but also increases transparency and efficiency in state management. Therefore, businesses need to quickly adapt to this new regulation.
