On the evening of May 28, at the Provincial Sports Palace (Nam Dinh city), Vietnam Television in coordination with the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province and Chip World Trading and Service Company Limited held the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the Vietnam Robot Creation Contest (Robocon Vietnam) 2023.

After 5 days of competition, the Vietnam Robocon 2023 Competition has selected 8 excellent teams to pass the 1/8 knockout round to compete in the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals to select the champion team. Opening the final night was the competition between the quarterfinal pairs: DCN-DREAM (Hanoi University of Industry) with UNETI-TNT (University of Economics and Industrial Technology); H2-AEC (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering) with DCN-DT 02 (Hanoi University of Industry); SKH-PHOENIX (Hung Yen University of Technical Education) with LH-J4F (Lac Hong University) and finally BKD PHOENIX (University of Science and Technology - University of Danang) with UNETI-102 (University of Economics and Industrial Technology).

After 4 quarter-final matches, 4 teams UNETI-TNT (University of Economics and Technology), DCN-DT 02 (Hanoi University of Industry), LH-J4F (Lac Hong University), UNETI-102 (University of Economics and Technology) won and entered the semi-final match. With the absolute victory of Chey-Yo, teams DCN-DT 02 (Hanoi University of Industry) and LH-J4F (Lac Hong University) competed in the final match.

With a score of 42 seconds, team DCN-DT 02 (Hanoi University of Industry) won the championship and is the team representing Vietnam to participate in the Asia-Pacific Robot Competition, taking place in Cambodia in August 2023.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Second Prize to team LH-J4F (Lac Hong University); awarded 2 Third Prizes to teams UNETI-TNT and UNETI-102 (University of Economics and Technology). In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded the following additional prizes to the teams: Technology Prize to team SKH-PHOENIX (Hung Yen University of Technology and Education); Idea Prize to team H2-AEC (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering); Promising Robot Prize to team BKD PHOENIX (University of Science and Technology - University of Danang); Outstanding Manual Robot Prize to team DCN-DREAM (Hanoi University of Industry). Team LH-J4F (Lac Hong University) won the Fairplay Prize.
