The TTDK application will automatically reschedule successful registration for family vehicles eligible for extended inspection cycle from June 3.
The TTDK vehicle inspection application management department of the Department of Vehicle Inspection announced that it will automatically reschedule the inspection schedule on this application for all vehicles whose inspection cycle has been extended according to the provisions of Circular 08/2023/TT-BGTVT regulating technical safety and environmental protection inspection, effective from June 3, 2023.
According to the TTDK Inspection Application Management Department, this rescheduled inspection is to create conditions for vehicles that have expired or are about to expire but are not eligible for an extended inspection cycle to be able to make an appointment for inspection as soon as possible. In fact, there are many vehicles that are eligible for an automatic extension of the inspection cycle but have already made an appointment, and have not yet canceled the appointment on the app, making it difficult for vehicle owners in need to choose the nearest appointment.
In addition, the inspection appointment schedule of vehicles with automatically extended inspection cycles will be moved to a new time that matches the new validity period of the Certificate and Inspection Stamp after being extended. This operation is completely automated by the TTDK app administration team without the vehicle owner having to make any changes or confirmations. Currently, at inspection centers, the number of appointments for cars with less than 9 seats has been reduced to prioritize semi-trailers, pickup trucks, trucks and other vehicles.
According to records, inspection hotspots such as Ho Chi Minh City or Binh Duong still have available schedules in June. The TTDK app management team noted and recommended that vehicle owners in need can make an appointment.
The Department of Registration said that not having to inspect nearly 1.4 million vehicles with automatic extension of inspection cycles according to Circular 08/2023 will create conditions for registration units to focus human resources and facilities to mainly serve the inspection of other transport business vehicles as well as vehicles that are overdue for inspection but have not been inspected.
From there, it will both solve traffic congestion and ensure early deployment of vehicles for transportation, minimizing unnecessary damage to society.
