Innovation should focus on the effective application of science and digital transformation.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee delivered a speech giving directions.

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and localities; and representatives of business associations and cooperatives in the province.

Delivering a keynote address at the program, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation of the nation has once again affirmed the importance of the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as a decisive factor in the development of nations; it is a prerequisite and the best opportunity for our country to develop into a prosperous and powerful nation in the new era - the era of national progress. He expressed his hope that the "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" competition would mobilize the participation of the business community and a large number of people in innovation to improve the efficiency of production, business, and all aspects of social life. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Besides the leading role of the State, the involvement of business associations, the Cooperative Alliance, and individual member cooperatives is very important.

Emphasizing that innovation should focus on the effective application of science and digital transformation to revitalize familiar practices, the comrade urged departments, sectors, and localities to participate with the highest sense of responsibility. Each sector and field should have specific initiatives within its area to participate in the competition, thereby inspiring and spreading the spirit of innovation throughout the sector. During implementation, attention should be paid to projects and initiatives that, while small, are highly practical, applicable, and significant; promoting leadership, finding technological solutions, attracting socialized investment, organizing inspections and evaluations, and developing solutions to replicate effective initiatives and models. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee instructed the Provincial Electronic Information Portal, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and the Thai Nguyen Newspaper to increase the time allocated for propaganda, establish a separate section, and publish at least one news item or article per week related to innovation, science and technology, focusing on promoting successful, exemplary, and representative models to create a ripple effect in the community.

The Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, expressed the readiness of the business community to spread awareness and support the competition.

Speaking at the launch event, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company and Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, shared his experience in spreading the spirit of innovation within the TNG ecosystem. He also expressed his delight at the decisive involvement of all levels and sectors under the direct leadership of provincial leaders in implementing innovation. The Chairman of the Provincial Business Association believes that with willpower and determination, especially through the "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen " competition, the spirit of innovation will spread, creating an important driving force for Thai Nguyen to achieve breakthrough and prosperous development.

At the launch event, a memorandum of sponsorship was signed between the Competition Organizing Committee and the Provincial Business Association.

The first "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" competition in 2025 aims to honor, encourage, and spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, highlighting small actions with great significance, for outstanding organizations and individuals who have made positive contributions to innovation, bringing practical benefits to the socio-economic development of the province, and contributing to building a more prosperous, civilized, and developed Thai Nguyen. The competition is open to organizations and individuals who have created and applied achievements, technical solutions, technologies, and management solutions to improve the efficiency of socio-economic development, enhance productivity, quality, and added value of goods and products, and whose innovations have been effectively implemented and applied in practice, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen province. All innovative projects in the fields of production, business, and social life within Thai Nguyen province are eligible to participate. The project must clearly demonstrate innovation, have concrete socio-economic benefits, and be highly effective when applied within the province.

Thai Nguyen province has always paid attention to encouraging innovation in all fields.

The Organizing Committee of the Competition will accept applications from October 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025 through the following methods:
