This group includes three teams participating for the first time in the 2nd Vietnam Youth and Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup 2024 (TNSV THACO Cup 2024): the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology team, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM) team, and the University of Economics and Law team. Meanwhile, the Vietnam Aviation Academy team is participating for the second time.

Similarly, the team from the University of Economics and Law is also worth watching. In the first season, the Vietnam Aviation Academy team showed a lack of experience. However, good preparation for the second season could help them spring a surprise.

The team from the University of Technology (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) is harboring ambitions to reclaim its former glory.

The Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM) team, currently led by former Saigon Port FC player Nguyen Van Tuan, has made thorough preparations. Once a very strong force in Vietnamese student football, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology team is returning with the ambition to reclaim its former glory. But in a new form, with a spirit of fair play, fair wins, and fair cheering.

"The first match in any tournament is always very important. The players from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (VNU-HCM) team are still quite inexperienced, with most of them being first-year and second-year students. Over the past period, we have played many friendly matches to help the players get used to 11-a-side football. Hopefully, the team will have a good opening match to make progress in the tournament," Coach Nguyen Van Tuan shared.

The match between the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology team and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology team (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), taking place right after the opening ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City regional qualifiers, promises to be full of surprises and drama as the unknown factors of both teams will be revealed in their debut in the Youth and Student Football Tournament.
