Vietnam team gathers 27 players for FIFA Days in October 2024

The Vietnam team will gather 27 players to prepare for two quality international friendly matches with the Lebanese and Indian teams on the occasion of FIFA Days in October 2024.

On October 2, head coach Kim Sang-sik announced the list of players for the Vietnamese national team to prepare for two international friendly matches against India and Lebanon on FIFA Days in October 2024.

Vietnam team will play 2 friendly matches in October.

According to plan, the Vietnamese team will start training from October 5 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

On October 8, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will travel to Nam Dinh to prepare for the first friendly match on the occasion of FIFA Days in October 2024, against the Indian team on October 9 at Thien Truong Stadium.

After this match, the team will return to Hanoi to continue training until October 14, then return to Nam Dinh to play the second friendly match against the Lebanese team, taking place on October 15 at Thien Truong Stadium.

In the series of international friendly matches FIFA Days in October 2024 organized by VFF, alternating between the matches between Vietnam and India and Vietnam and Lebanon will be the match between India and Lebanon on October 12, also at Thien Truong Stadium.

However, in this gathering, the Vietnamese team will not have the service of Pham Tuan Hai in the attack. This striker is in the treatment phase to recover from injury and has been absent in the last 3 rounds of V.League 1-2024/25.

For the same reason, the team's defense did not have the presence of Ho Tan Tai. In the match in round 3 of LPBank V.League 2024/25, this defender only entered the field for about 20 minutes before being replaced due to injury.
