Synchronizing resources to promote sustainable poverty reduction.

The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province requests that all departments and agencies implement the Regulations on the Operation of the Central Steering Committee on National Target Programs, ensuring effective implementation.

The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has issued Document No. 9615 assigning relevant departments and agencies to implement Decision No. 47/QD-BCDCMTQG dated May 21, 2026, of the Central Steering Committee on promulgating the Regulations on organization and operation of the Central Steering Committee for National Target Programs for the period 2026 - 2030.

Accordingly, the program focuses on three key tasks: building new rural areas, achieving sustainable poverty reduction, and developing the socio -economic conditions of ethnic minority and mountainous regions. This is considered an important foundation for improving people's quality of life, narrowing the development gap between regions, and creating momentum for sustainable growth at the local level.

Vice Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Cao Van Cuong assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead and coordinate with the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, the Department of Finance, and other relevant units to research and fully implement the contents of Decision No. 47 in accordance with regulations. At the same time, the units are required to proactively advise and propose solutions to the Provincial People's Committee to promptly address any difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation process.

The early concretization of the Central Steering Committee's operational regulations is expected to create uniformity in direction, management, and coordination among all levels and sectors. This will improve the efficiency of managing and utilizing investment resources for national target programs, especially in the mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas of Thanh Hoa province.

In recent years, Thanh Hoa province has achieved many positive results in building new rural areas and reducing poverty. However, the locality still faces many challenges in improving the income of people in ethnic minority areas and ensuring balanced development between regions. Therefore, the synchronized implementation of national target programs in the new phase is considered an important solution to create comprehensive changes in the economy, society, and people's lives in the province.
