The Provincial Party Secretary visits and extends New Year greetings in Ha Long City.

On January 16th, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended New Year greetings to armed forces units and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Ha Long City. Accompanying him was Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee.

The Provincial Party Secretary visited, extended New Year greetings, and encouraged the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police.

During his visit to extend New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and endeavors of the entire provincial police force over the past year. They have consistently maintained close contact with the situation, playing a core role in advising the Party Committee and local authorities on strengthening the direction of ensuring political security and social order in the province. This has contributed to keeping the entire province safe, stable, and developing, bringing peace and happiness to the people.

The Provincial Party Secretary visited, extended New Year greetings, and presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command.

To ensure that the people can celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake peacefully and happily, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the entire provincial police force maintain and strictly implement the directives of the Ministry of Public Security and Quang Ninh province regarding security and order during and after the Tet holiday. They must prevent the emergence of any uncontrollable or unexpected situations and maintain security and order along the land and sea borders.

The Provincial Party Secretary encouraged the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command to perform their duties during the Tet holiday.

On the occasion of the New Year, the Provincial Party Secretary sends his deepest regards, sincere wishes, and confidence to all police officers and soldiers in Quang Ninh, wishing them good health, many more achievements, and the highest goal of maintaining a safe, stable, and developing area, creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development, and bringing peace and happiness to the people.

During his visit to extend New Year greetings to the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Party Secretary commended and acknowledged the achievements the unit had made in various aspects of its work in 2024, contributing to the firm protection of maritime sovereignty and preventing any unexpected or sudden incidents.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, cordially chatted with and inquired about the health of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuoc, residing in Ha Phong ward, Ha Long city.

Emphasizing the crucial role of the armed forces, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command strictly adhere to combat readiness duties; absolutely avoid being caught off guard or surprised in any situation, especially during the Tet holiday; strengthen close coordination with other forces to firmly protect the sovereignty of the border and islands; and pay attention to ensuring the best possible material and spiritual well-being for the troops so they can enjoy a joyful, healthy, and safe Tet holiday.

The Provincial Party Secretary visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc in Cao Xanh ward, Ha Long City.

On the same day, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with a delegation, visited and extended New Year greetings to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc (Cao Xanh ward) and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuoc (Ha Phong ward), Ha Long City.

The Provincial Party Secretary cordially inquired about the lives and health of the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers' families and expressed deep gratitude for their sacrifices and losses in the struggle for national independence. He wished the Mothers good health, happiness, and that they would continue to be role models for their children and younger generations to follow.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended New Year greetings to former Secretaries of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province continue to uphold the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source," actively implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines for policy beneficiary families and meritorious individuals; and promptly provide support and create favorable conditions for the families of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy beneficiary families and meritorious individuals to celebrate Tet and enjoy a warm and joyful Spring.

On the occasion of preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and extended New Year greetings to former Provincial Party Secretaries: Comrade Nguyen Binh Giang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 9th and 10th terms; Comrade Ha Van Hien, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 11th term; Comrade Nguyen Van Quynh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 11th and 12th terms; and Comrade Nguyen Duy Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 12th term. He also paid respects and offered incense to commemorate the late provincial leaders from various periods, including Comrades Nguyen Thi, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 6th term; Le Dai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 6th, 7th, and 8th terms; and Tran Ngoc Thu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in the 10th term.
