On the afternoon of July 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province, term X, 2019-2024, held the 13th conference to review the front's work in the first 6 months of the year and the key work program for the last 6 months of 2024.
Attending the conference were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Van Dung; Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the People's Council, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and member political organizations. Chairing the conference were Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vo Xuan Ca and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thai Binh and Nguyen Phi Hung.
This session gave opinions on the contents presented at the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province, term 2024 - 2029; consulted to elect additional and replace members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term X according to regulations.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front reported on the results of the front's work in the first 6 months of the year; accordingly, in the first 6 months of the year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels continued to promote their core political role in participating in building and rectifying the Party and a strong political system; innovated propaganda, gathering and uniting people of all walks of life; proactively implemented and successfully completed the proposed work program. In particular, focusing on successfully organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the district and commune levels, term 2024-2029; preparing conditions for organizing the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Quang Nam province, term 2024-2029.
At the conference, comrade Le Van Dung announced some outstanding results of the socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year. Despite many common difficulties in all areas, the Party Committee has focused on leadership, gradually overcoming difficulties, and firmly implementing assigned targets and tasks.
At this conference, delegates conducted consultations to elect additional members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 10th term, 2019-2024. 100% of delegates unanimously elected Mr. Le Tri Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term to replace Mr. Vo Xuan Ca - Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee who was transferred to be the Head of the Propaganda Department of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee since July 10.
