Both sides agreed to report to the leaders of the two Parties and States in the coming time that they will strengthen the exchange of delegations and enhance contacts at all levels, possibly through online means, thereby sharing information, experiences, and theories on party building, and many other issues of mutual interest to both Parties; and continue to encourage friendly relations, cooperation, and exchanges between the political and social organizations of the two Parties, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, building a united and supportive younger generation…

The Mozambique Liberation Front (FRELIMO – the ruling party since 1975) was founded on June 25, 1962. In February 1977, at its 3rd Congress, the Mozambique Liberation Front announced its transformation into the FRELIMO Party, adopting Marxism-Leninism as its guiding ideology. Since holding its first multi-party general election in October 1994, FRELIMO has consistently won and continued to govern the country to this day.

The FRELIMO Party was one of the first political parties with which the Communist Party of Vietnam established relations, starting in the 1960s. The two parties maintain a traditional friendship. Over time, relations between the two parties have developed well, contributing to strengthening political trust and creating an important foundation for promoting cooperation between the two countries in many fields.

On the same day, the delegation, in coordination with the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique, organized a trade and investment promotion conference.

Attending the conference were Mr. Pham Hoang Kim, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique; Mr. Alvaro Massingue, President of the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Gil Bies, Director General of the Mozambique Investment and Export Chamber; and many Mozambican businesses seeking investment cooperation opportunities.

Also on June 20th, the delegation and the Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique visited and laid flowers at Ho Chi Minh Avenue in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique.

For many Africans, the name of President Ho Chi Minh is always mentioned with respect and admiration. In 1977, Samora Machel, the first president of the People's Republic of Mozambique, now the Republic of Mozambique, named a street over 1km long in the capital Maputo after Ho Chi Minh to express the respect and admiration of the Mozambican people for the Vietnamese leader.

The project has a total investment capital of over US$600 million. The two countries have successfully implemented several agricultural projects, most notably the "Cooperation in Research and Development of Food Crops and Vegetables in Mozambique, 2013-2017," in which Vietnam provided nearly US$2 million in support...
