Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, sincerely thanked the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam and the Ambassador himself for arranging the time to welcome and work with the delegation of Ninh Thuan province. Briefly introducing the geographical location, culture, people and potentials and strengths of the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Ninh Thuan is actively implementing foreign affairs activities to promote investment cooperation, mobilize and attract development support capital from outside to, together with the province's resources, implement works and projects to serve the socio -economic development goals of the locality. Ninh Thuan province hopes to receive the attention and support of the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam in appraising the province's project proposals and commits to focus all resources, actively coordinate with the central ministries and branches to implement the project steps quickly and most effectively. Also during the working session, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee invited the Ambassador and his colleagues to arrange time to visit Ninh Thuan province to better understand the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Keijo Norvanto, Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam, said that he and his colleagues were very pleased to welcome the delegation of the province to visit and work at the Embassy Office in Hanoi ; at the same time, he shared that he was very impressed with the culture, people, and potential of Ninh Thuan province during his working trip to the province two years ago. Regarding the project proposed by the province, based on the content discussed at the meeting, the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam will soon have comments to send to the Finnish Government for consideration according to regulations, and at the same time, the information about the Public Investment Credit Program (PIF) of the Finnish Government will usually have results by the end of May or early June after reviewing the proposals of each participating country. Also at the meeting, Mr. Keijo Norvanto, Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam, said that every year, the Embassy of Finland will organize visits and work with about 10 provinces and cities across the country and will arrange to visit Ninh Thuan at an appropriate time./.
