New growth drivers from digital economy

With the participation of the entire political system, people and businesses, up to now, the digital economy has been creating a breakthrough in production, business and consumption activities, improving productivity and product quality, contributing to promoting rapid and sustainable growth.

As one of the dynamic, innovative and creative localities with many favorable conditions for developing the digital economy , in recent years, the province has issued programs and plans to implement digital transformation. In particular, focusing on 3 main pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society.

In 2025, the province organized the forum "Building a local digital economy on the basis of high-tech supply chains". Within the framework of the forum, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Kami Manufacturing Technology Joint Stock Company, Center for Application and Innovation, Trong Hieu Service and Environment Company Limited, CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company (CNCTech), Vinh Phuc Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Vinh Phuc College of Engineering and Technology.

According to the content of the memorandum of understanding, CNCTech and KAMI will cooperate in deploying the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in industrial production and supply chain, cooperate in developing high-tech human resources, build an innovation ecosystem in high-tech industry and deploy pilot projects and technology demonstration centers.

CNCTech is known as a leading enterprise in the field of industrial production and green industrial park infrastructure development. Recently, within the framework of the Ceremony to announce the Ranking of the Fastest Growing Enterprises in Vietnam (FAST500) in 2025, CNCTech was honored to be one of the 500 fastest growing enterprises in Vietnam. This is the third consecutive time CNCTech has been included in the FAST500 ranking.

CNCTech Group Joint Stock Company is a pioneer in applying digital technology and innovation in management, production and business activities.

The province currently has nearly 4,000 information technology, electronics, telecommunications and digital technology enterprises; more than 1,000 enterprises providing transportation and logistics services using digital technology.

In particular, 100% of businesses use the electronic invoice platform; 100% of supermarkets and shopping malls have cashless payment devices - POS. 3G and 4G networks have covered 100% of the province, with more than 60 5G stations of Viettel and VNPT.

This is a platform to support people and businesses to promote the application of digital technology in management, production, business and consumption activities. Up to now, the whole province has more than 16 thousand digital signatures of companies, businesses and individuals provided by VNPT Vinh Phuc and Viettel Vinh Phuc for people and businesses in the province to use for digital signing, authentication and implementation in electronic transactions in the form of providing equipment and using such as Token, Sim, HSM, Smart.

The above figures affirm the efforts and determination of all levels, sectors, localities and the business community in implementing digital transformation. The digital economy has been spreading into all production, business and consumption activities, promoting growth in the area.

In the first quarter of 2025, the province's GRDP increased by 8.75% over the same period, continuing to affirm the driving role of the industrial and construction sector. Other sectors such as budget collection, development investment, trade and services, business support and social security all recorded positive results, creating a favorable foundation for socio-economic development in the following quarters.

Currently, the whole province has more than 17 thousand registered enterprises. In the first 5 months of 2025, the province's industrial production index is estimated to increase by 15.12% over the same period in 2024. Total state budget revenue reached more than 14,017 billion VND, equal to nearly 52% of the target assigned by the Provincial People's Council for the whole year, equal to 43.7% of the province's double-digit growth scenario and increased by 47.3% over the same period.

In order for the digital economy to truly become a driving force for economic growth, the province continues to promote propaganda and raise awareness among people and businesses about the role of digital transformation. Encourage businesses to actively apply digital technology and innovation in production and business activities.

At the same time, prioritize resources for digital transformation, technology infrastructure development and logistics. Implement programs to support businesses in applying digital technology in management as well as production and business, contributing to green and sustainable development.
